Flowers of wisdom

If there are obstacles, not 'the infinite

If you can count, not the stars

If you tremble or shake, and not 'a mountain

If increases or decreases, is not 'an ocean

If it passes over the bridges, not 'a river

If you can 'grasp, and not' the rainbow

Here are the parables of the six external perceptions

Keynote of Capricorn:

Lost am I in light supernal, yet on that light I turn my back.

CAPRICORN GUARDS THE secret of the soul, the secret of the hidden glory, revealed to the disciple at the climax of the third initiation, the transfiguration on the mountain top of the personality by the soul.  But this revelation can occur only as the result of effort, of the ability to rise above the limitations of the personality, to persist on the upward way in spite of hindrances and difficulties.  There is no easy way for an individual to free himself from his own limitations of selfishness and separateness; and there are no short cuts.  It is a long, painful process in which we learn eventually by personal experience that self-discipline, self-control and self-sacrifice form the foundation stones of discipleship.

On this foundation the superstructure of a loving, responsible way of life, reflecting the values of the soul, may eventually develop.  This growth in consciousness becomes the way of initiation, the way to the mountain top, towards the supernal light which reveals the soul as the real Self, the Plan as the responsibility of discipleship, and the spiritual Hierarchy of the planet as the center of love into which initiation admits the accepted disciple.  Capricorn is therefore the outstanding sign of initiation.

At the time of each full moon Festival, energy qualified by the constellation influencing the period flows into the range of human awareness, establishing the divine attributes in the consciousness of humanity.  This spiritual inflow can be channeled in meditation into the minds and hearts of all people.

The technique of meditation governs all expansions of consciousness, all registration of Plan or Purpose and the entire process of evolutionary unfoldment.

The monthly full moon work is providing the seed of the coming new world religion.  In the future all people of spiritual inclination and intention everywhere will keep the same holy days.  This unanimity of effort will bring about a pooling of spiritual resources and a united spiritual effort.  Individuals involved in this invocation work will increasingly be able to act as mediating points, bringing in great spiritual energies and stepping them down for the benefiting and stimulation of the masses and the three lower kingdoms.

The characteristic human qualities of idealism and intuition are stimulated by the energy flowing through Sagittarius into our solar system, into our planet and into the center of consciousness we call humanity.  These are soul qualities inherent in all of us.

Tibetan Flags

faded.. by jhnhtt.

"Traditionally, prayer flags are used to promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom. The flags do not carry prayers to 'gods,' a common misconception, rather the Tibetans believe the prayers and mantras will be blown by the wind to spread the good will and compassion into all pervading space. Therefore, prayer flags are thought to bring benefit to all.

By hanging flags in high places the "Wind Horse" will carry the blessings depicted on the flags to all beings. As wind passes over the surface of the flags which are sensitive to the slightest movement of the wind, the air is purified and sanctified by the Mantras.

The prayers of a flag become a permanent part of the universe as the images fade from exposure to the elements. Just as life moves on and is replaced by new life, Tibetans renew their hopes for the world by continually mounting new flags alongside the old. This act symbolizes a welcoming of life changes and an acknowledgment that all beings are part of a greater ongoing cycle."

All major religious traditions carry basically the same message, that is love, compassion and forgiveness the important thing is they should be part of our daily lives.
Dalai Lama

Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.
Dalai Lama

Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.
Dalai Lama

I find hope in the darkest of days, and focus in the brightest. I do not judge the universe.

If you can, help others; if you cannot do that, at least do not harm them.

If you have a particular faith or religion, that is good. But you can survive without it.

Dalai Lama

My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness.
Dalai Lama

Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend - or a meaningful day.
Dalai Lama

Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them.
Dalai Lama

Sleep is the best meditation.
Dalai Lama

Sometimes one creates a dynamic impression by saying something, and sometimes one creates as significant an impression by remaining silent.

The ultimate authority must always rest with the individual's own reason and critical analysis.

Sacred Love - Poetry

Sacred Love

My heart fish

has found the river of our love

and runs clear to the ocean

that is not ours but the domain of love itself

In your embrace

I am held by the lovers of all ages

your eyes hold the same light

that resurrected Lazarus

and at your touch I feel

Krishna pick up his flute

This love is not held secret

for its fragility

to be kept safe

from the calculating eyes of the world

But for its awesome power

A power that would tear hearts open

returning all fish to their source

When people are only asking for a bucket

or a small pond with one lotus and a frog to kiss

I stay silent

sinking ever deeper

taking our silver

into the dark sea of Love itself
